Year II Confirmation – February

February 7th – No Classes

February 14th – Impact of Media – This night focuses on how the Media influences our lives.  How are you going to build on this topic?

February 21st – Lent 2010 – What do you plan to do to help prepare your students for Lent?

February 21st – Chapter 14: Baptism – This sacrament marks of for Christ and joins us to the Church.  How are you planning on bringing this chapter to life?

February 28th – Chapter 15: Confirmation – Confirmaiton empowers us to witness our faith to others.  Any creative ideas in mind?

6th Grade – February

February 3Chapter 15 – The Eucharist – The Eucharist is the source and the summit of the Christian Life.  Any ideas or ways you are going to help your students love the Eucharist more?

February 10 – Lenten Lesson (create your own lesson) – What ideas do you have?

February 17 –Ash Wednesday (Classes will go to Mass together)

February 24 – Chapter 17 – Sacraments of Healing – How do you plan to connect that these two sacraments are part of Jesus’ Healing Ministry?

5th Grade – February

February 3 Chapter 16 – Jesus’ Work of Healing – The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a place where we can really encounter the mercy and healing of Christ.  How will you bring this out in your lesson?

February 10 – Lenten Lesson (create your own lesson) – Share your ideas please!

February 17 – Ash Wednesday (Students will go to Mass together)

February 24 – Chapter 18 – Making Christian Decisions – This chapter discusses the 4 cardinal virtues.  These are great to bring out in the lesson.  How do you plan on sharing this with your students?

4th Grade – February

February 3: Chapter 19: Living a Holy Life – This chapter explores how our choices lead us to live a life of holiness.  Please share your ideas!

February 17: Ash Wednesday (Classes to go to Mass together)

February 24: Chapter 21:Love God with All Your Heart – Focuses on the First 3 commandments.  Any ideas not suggested in the book or notebook that you are going to include?

3rd Grade – February

February 3rd –Chapter 18: Jesus Teaches Us How to Love: A Scripture Story – How are you going to help students understand the Great Commandment?  Any good practical application activities you are going to be doing?
